Know Your Foe III

  1. What signs shall follow the believer? Mark 16:17-18

    17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

    18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

  2. What does it mean to believe?
  3. What authority has Jesus given to the believer?
  4. Does the believer exercise his authority in the name of Jesus or the blood of Jesus?
  5. Does the believer have the authority to force out demons?
  6. Does the believer have the authority to heal normal sicknesses that are not caused by demons?
  7. How did Jesus force out demons? Mark 5:8

    8 For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!”

  8. Did Christ ask the Father to remove the evil spirits, or did he sack them himself?
  9. Do you ask God to remove an evil spirit or do you command the evil spirit to leave, using your authority in the name of Jesus?
  10. Do you instruct evil spirits as you would another person?
  11. How do you force a demon out of a person?
  12. Repeat 10 times

    Unclean spirits, come out in the name of Jesus

  13. How did Christ heal normal sicknesses not caused by demons? Luke 4:38-40

    38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to Simon's home. Simon's mother-in-law was sick with a high fever, and they spoke to Jesus about her. 39 He went and stood at her bedside and ordered the fever to leave her. The fever left her, and she got up at once and began to wait on them. 40 After sunset all who had friends who were sick with various diseases brought them to Jesus; he placed his hands on every one of them and healed them all.

  14. How do you heal a person suffering from a sickness not caused by a demon?
  15. Lay your hand on another person and repeat 10 times.

    Sickness, leave now in the name of Jesus

  16. Before teaching the word of God to people, should you first sack every unclean spirit out of them?
  17. Deliver yourself from every unclean spirit.

    I am free from every power of the enemy In the name of Jesus. I command the spirit behind my addiction, sickness, anger, etc. to leave and never return in the name of Jesus.

  18. Deliver yourself from every curse.

    Lord Jesus, deliver me from every curse and power of the enemy

  19. When forcing out an unclean spirit is proving difficult what else can you do? Mark 5:9

    9 Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”

  20. Can you force out a demon by first asking their name, and then referring to them by name to come out in the name of Jesus?
  21. How do you ensure the demon does not enter the person again? Mark 9:25

    25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

  22. What do you do with thoughts that the devil tries to put in your head? James 4:7

    Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

  23. How do you resist the devil in your thoughts?
  24. Should you silently ignore these thoughts?
  25. Should you vocally rebuke these thoughts and command them to leave you in the name of Jesus?

    Let every unclean thought depart from me in the name of Jesus

  29. Should you watch what you hear with your ears if you do not want to be troubled by evil spirits?

  31. Should you watch what you say with your tongue if you do not want to be troubled by evil spirits?
  32. What is the reason for your answer?
  33. Should you watch what you do with your body if you do not want to have trouble with evil spirits?
  34. What is the reason for your answer?
  35. Should you watch what you bring into your home if you do not want to invite evil spirits? Deuteronomy 7:26

    Make sure you set fire to their carved gods. Don’t get greedy for the veneer of silver and gold on them and take it for yourselves—you’ll get trapped by it for sure. GOD hates it; it’s an abomination to GOD, your God. And don’t dare bring one of these abominations home or you’ll end up just like it, burned up as a holy destruction. No: It is forbidden! Hate it. Abominate it. Destroy it and preserve GOD’s holiness.

  41. Pray, asking God to reveal every secret. hidden thing about yourself, your family, that is fighting you? Jeremiah 33:3

    Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

  42. Are you prepared for warfare?
  43. “I am a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. The enemy has no claim over my life.” (John 1:12, Colossians 1:13–14)

  44. “I declare that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all powers and principalities.” (Ephesians 2:6, Ephesians 1:21)

  45. “I have been given power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.” (Luke 10:19)

  46. “No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment I condemn.” (Isaiah 54:17)

  47. “I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my body, my family, and my home.” (Exodus 12:13, Revelation 12:11)

  48. “The angel of the Lord encamps around me and delivers me from all harm.” (Psalm 34:7)

  49. “I declare total deliverance from every bondage and stronghold. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36)

  50. “Every chain of addiction, depression, or oppression is broken off me now in Jesus’ name.” (Nahum 1:13, Isaiah 10:27)

  51. “I renounce every generational curse and declare that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17)

  52. “I take every thought captive to obey Christ. I reject fear, anxiety, and confusion.” (2 Corinthians 10:4–5)

  53. “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

  54. “I put on the helmet of salvation and declare mental clarity, peace, and truth over my mind.” (Ephesians 6:17)

  55. “I declare victory over temptation. Sin shall not have dominion over me.” (Romans 6:14)

  56. “I walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)

  57. “The Lord is faithful and delivers me from every snare of the evil one.” (1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3)

  59. “Every spirit of chaos, disorder, and strife is bound and cast out in Jesus’ name.” (Mark 3:27, James 3:16)

  60. “I speak peace to the storm and calm to every spiritual disturbance around me.” (Mark 4:39)

  61. “I declare divine health. Every attack on my body is defeated by the blood of Jesus.” (Isaiah 53:5, 3 John 1:2)

  62. “No sickness or plague shall come near my dwelling. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.” (Psalm 91:10, 1 Corinthians 6:19)

  63. “I receive supernatural strength to overcome weariness and burnout.” (Isaiah 40:31)

  64. “I break the spirit of lack and poverty. The Lord supplies all my needs abundantly.” (Philippians 4:19, Deuteronomy 28:11)

  65. “I declare open heavens over my finances. Every devourer is rebuked in Jesus’ name.” (Malachi 3:10–11)

  66. “I walk in divine favor and abundance. I am blessed to be a blessing.” (Psalm 5:12, Genesis 12:2)

  67. “I declare that my household is covered and protected. We serve the Lord together in unity and love.” (Joshua 24:15)

  68. “No weapon formed against my marriage, children, or legacy shall prosper.” (Isaiah 59:21)

  69. “The plans of the enemy to divide, discourage, or destroy my family are nullified by the power of God.” (John 10:10, Psalm 127:1)

  70. “I declare that I am advancing in the Spirit. I grow daily in wisdom, power, and discernment.” (Colossians 1:10, Ephesians 1:17–18)

  71. “Every spiritual blockage, delay, and stagnation is removed. I walk in acceleration and divine timing.” (Isaiah 60:22, Amos 9:13)

  72. “I will not backslide or grow weary. I press forward in faith, victory, and unshakable hope.” (Hebrews 10:39, Philippians 3:14)
